HOW I WORK
My approach begins with careful assessment to understand not only where the problem is, but why it has developed and what may be preventing recovery.
Treatment combines the principles of traditional acupuncture with a modern understanding of the relationships between fascia, muscles, joints and the nervous system. A central part of my approach is education — helping patients understand their own body, their symptoms, and the mechanisms of healing and adaptation. Where appropriate, I also provide practical advice and rehabilitation strategies to help support long-term recovery and reduce the likelihood of recurrence.
SERVICES
Pain & Recovery
Whether your pain is recent or long-standing, treatment is tailored to reduce pain, restore function and support your body’s natural healing processes.
Sports & Activity Injuries
From recreational exercise to competitive sport, acupuncture can help support recovery from injury, improve movement and assist a safe return to activity.
Stress, Tension & Recovery
Stress often presents physically. Treatment aims to help regulate the nervous system, reduce muscular tension and support better sleep, resilience and overall wellbeing.
General Acupuncture
Traditional acupuncture supports a wide range of health concerns beyond pain, with treatment always tailored to the individual rather than the condition.
What Patients Say
“I still have arthritis but manage the condition without conventional treatment. Acupuncture certainly works for me and I am happy to endorse both Edward and this form of treatment.”
Anne
Osteoarthritis
“Whilst I was sceptical at first the treatments definitely helped ease the pain. The proof is in the fact that I completed the marathon, despite having previously been advised by a physio that I shouldn’t be running at all.”
Jon
Marathon Runner
“Within one treatment, I had regained full mobility with no associated pain. I did not expect such a dramatic improvement and have been highly impressed with Edward’s skills.”
